Default Cylinder head install

I got the reman. tupy head on but it's not seating all the way. Do I need to loosen the alt/AC bracket? Thanks!

I think there are two dowels pins in the block? Maybe one worked its way out removing the old head, preventing the head from seating? No wires are caught under the head? If you didnt have to mess with the ac/alt bracket taking the old head off, i dont see why it would be an issue now.

Is the valvetrain on it already? Could be fighting the pushrods a wee bit.

Ok I wiggled it a little bit and presto! Now I inspected the rocker arms and they are quite rough at the half moon bearings... any thoughts?

Yeah, replace them. They are "relatively inexpensive." Replace both rockers and pivots.
