Cylinder Head Help Please!
Hey everyone. I just replaced my cylinder head, got the vac lines put together, etc. The 2 bolts under the AC compressor that attached the bracket to the head are off just a bit. Anyone know an easy way to shift the bracket up just a bit to get the bolts in?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Here's some pics of the bolts that I'm talking about. Also I'm wondering where to put this vacuum line? This is a different looking brake booster. Anyone ever seen this?
Thanks for the advice!

That vac line will have to be plugged it is for a vac booster that you don't appear to have, you have abs. As far as the bolts, not sure hard to see, you will have to loosen off all bracket attaching bolts and try to start them all first before tightening.
Good luck!

Thanks captain! I figured this much for the bolts. Do you know how many on that bracket are attached to the block? Kind of hard to see.
Ugh, this is abs huh? Bummer... I noticed that if I covered that vac line, the engine started to stall. I have never had abs. Is the original intake manifold (with abs) setup differently?

The original manifold will be the same, just a cap or plug where that vac line comes off, not sure how many bolts on that bracket, you will prob have to move that a/c comp out of the way to tell.

Okay, I'll try it when I get home... Is there an easy way to go from abs to standard? Or do you guys think ABS in the XJ is good? I've still got a parts jeep in the driveway, so if it's a good idea, I'll strip the parts.
