Cylinder 1,3,5 misfire??
I got a 2001 one got the coil pack. one of my managers thinks i need to replace it. I thought it was just an issue with the common heat soak problem.. It only happens with the hot starts misfires then starts to run fine. Kinda confused here give me your thoughts guys.. Thanks in advance.

Heat soaked coils don't normally start working properly again until they cool down. Fuel injector heat soak will do as you describe though.

Same thing happens to my 01 XJ. The first time it happened I replaced em and after it kept happening every month or so i just bought the code reader they have at auto zone and whenever it shows up i clear. Not a big deal at all if unless they misfire every time it starts
