Default Cyl Head gaskets

So im ordering gaskets for my cylinder head replacement. Whats with these gasket sets and im sure the more expensive one isn't worth it but figured id ask.

  • Gasket Material:PermaTorqueMLS
  • Includes:Cylinder head gasket, PermaDry molded rubber valve cover gasket and premium valve stem seals
  • Product Fit:OE replacement
  • Type:Cylinder head
$171

  • Gasket Material:Rubber
  • Includes:Cylinder head gasket, PermaDry molded rubber valve cover gasket and premium valve stem seals
  • Product Fit:OE replacement
  • Type:Cylinder head
$64

Obviously the only difference is the gasket material but is PermaTorqueMLS so great that they need to charge almost triple the price?

MLS (Multi Layer Steel) head gaskets are used primarily when an engine has aluminum heads and an iron block. They MLS provides a stronger seal. Usually not needed on the Jeep 4.0.

When I did my head I pieced it together because I wanted the good gaskets and it came out cheaper than the$180 kit and I got the nice fel-pro gaskets but I didn't buy o-rings because I had some from my injector upgrade.. All together with oil and antifreeze everything but the head itself it was like $195

I think the mls gasket is thinner, could bump the compression up a little.
