Is there any way to repack those front CV wheel joints while the axle is still on the vehicle? The outer bands on the rubber boots on my '84 rusted off a week or so ago and I now have a little grit in the grease. Its easy enough to clean out the inner side of the assembly by pulling the boot back. Anyone figured out how to do this or is complete removal of the shaft the only way?
