Hi, I got an aftermarket central locking kit which is the same one ive put in my Bmw E36 and i got that to work all good, but for the life off me i cant get it to work in the jeep, i took the overhead module off to get to the wiring and still no luck, i even tried at the drivers door wiring, this is the central locking manual but different ways to wire so no clue on that pics attached, and according to these diagrams it shows the passenger door lock as the main lock for all locks or am i being thick any help or guidance would be grateful, thanks

On LHD 97+ models, the brains of the power locks are indeed on the passenger (right) side. I imagine they did the same thing for RHD models.

The complication of this system and how much it is integrated into the door panel lead to me not using it on my install of power remote locks on my '99 base model that never came with it. I just wired the aftermarket controller directly to the lock wires. As a result I don't get any marker lights flashing, honking, or interior courtesy light function. Better than having to find a way to mount that window controller for me.

Did you ever get this to work for you? I have the same setup and cant get it to activate unlock, I got the lock to work though.
