Quote: What I had going on for awhile was a piece of PVC, a 2 to 3.5 inch expander. It stuck in the old cupholder and made the top wider.
Thats a good idea. I have also been known to use a roll of duct tape (works good for a can) in my pickup since it had a bench seat. Eventually I needed something bigger and made a console for the floor. I cannibalized that one to make my new one.

my 95 came with the ones that sit into the passengers leg room not bad except the trim has gotten loose and everytime i hit a bump the thing goes flying along with my drink, i think im just gonna throw a crap load of super glue into it to hold it there.

Used one in my wrangler before. Stuck it on the rear bare floor and it held my pop still off road.

Quote: I wish I could find one of the ones that mounts to the side of the console..The one that mounts above the ebrake sucks big time..So much I tossed mine..
I have this one I think it works great. Never had anything fall out. The only thing is I cant use the ebrake.

chrysler needed to put the same ones in there like my intrepid. push it in and its hidden and its out when being used. its holds up to 24 ouncers, maybe 32, in place. 44's too big. i looked at mine to see if it could be fabed up somehow, but it looked like too much cutting and not good enough fit.

Nice, I love the artisan spirit here. What's the substance / materials of your MIY Cup Holders? I really can't tell, sorry. Jeep Accessories
like these cup holders from this site are expensive so I'm better off with MIYs.
