I'd use it. But instead I have the space inside the door with the panel off that I squeeze my cup intoo.

My expert opinion is NO. I mounted the same cup holder and most medimun and large cups do not fit, or if the do the cup is too tall and you have to hold it while making turns. I should take the console and cut out the bottom of the hole and make it deeper an then some more types of cups will not tip over. I did the same thing in the wifes Suzuki Sidekick, cut out the hole and glued in the bottom of a plastic cup inside. This gave her more room for coffee cups.
You will have to cut out the power mirror switch in the console which is not easy with a razor knife. will need to drill a hole and use small saw or some other cutter. The knock out is not cut for easy removal.
There is also not very much wire attached to the switch, so it just reaches the cutout. Beer cans fit in the holder just fine.

can't help with your coffee. but compare it to a Coke can. If the coffee cup is bigger than a coke can probably not going to fit.

Sorry tim hortons, it looks like i am switching to beer lol

I guess i am on a quest for a cup holder, i seen a idea on that some one made with diamond plate, maybe if i made one like that and also coated it in black rubber, would probably work well
