My cruise isn't working. I bypassed my NNS switch recently. Then a couple of days afterward, the check engine light came on and the cruise will not work. The power light comes on when I turn it on, but when i push the set button, the cruise won't set. I don't see why bypassing the switch would affect it since I only jumped the wires for N and P. I left all of the other wires for the gears plugged up. Does anyone know of any quick things I can check to see whats causing the cruise to not work? 96 model 4.0 h.o.
