Default Cruise control switch

Well, I finally figured out why my cruise control doesn't work. I was fiddling around today and noticed the wires are broken right where they go into the steering column housing. Since the letters are almost completely worn off, I'm thinking of just getting a new switch rather than trying to repair the wires. Any suggestions?
I found 2 sellers on ebay and while both have them listed for less than $25.00, I don't know if they're any good.
The cheapest is AMAuto but, I bought something from them before and it was a complete piece of crap.
1A Auto has it listed for a few dollars more but, I have no experience with them and none of the local parts stores carry it.

Personally I would go to Jeep and get it from your local dealership if they dont have it chances are they can get it for you. I know its a bit more but sometimes its worth paying more for things like this, Just my 2 cents.

Ill second what slim said, things like that i always fork the few extra bucks and go to the dealership. Stuff like that from ebay is almost always junk and will leave you going back to a dealership to buy the same part over again

Very common problem with the GM cruise controls. I purchased a fancy metal looking USB PC cable and shopped the ends off. Then soldered the new wires to the old switch and to the harness at the base of the column. Lol. $2.00 fix. Been workin fine for 3-4 years just fine now.

Protip: The later year GMs ( 199x - 200x, Caddys etc) have the same stalk BUT with a fancy plug so you can simply replace the stalk with the pigtail as it wears out. Our local "Pick-N-Pull" sells all cruise stalks for like $3.95. I might upgrade to a blingy caddy stalk sometime with the updated harness. Maybe..

Hahah...........silly me, I work for a dealership. I'll just check with our parts department this morning. I can probably get one for a decent price.

Chrysler doesn't manufacture switches. Aftermarket switch is probably manufactured by a company supplying Chrysler.

Eh...........they're discontinued anyway. So my choice is either ebay for $23.90 with free shipping or this site for $73.95 plus shipping.
