I recently took my '87 XJ into the shop to have the key-core replaced in the steering column. Before I took it, the cruise control worked fine, but after the shop was through, the C.C. does not work anymore. I took it back and they re-did the job trying to fix the prob, but no luck. Now they say that a servo went out for it. Is this B.S. or a legitimate prob? If so what and where is the part I need to find (pics would be great)? I drive 175+ mi/dy for work, so any help is greatly appreciated.
