Hey.....dumb question ( as i have a 91),, is your cruise setting engage etc., etc., on the turn signal stalk?
if it is.....get the new stalk ( chrysler has 'em for $75.00).
and don't try to remove the steering wheel and colum to re-feed the cable from the stalk down to the cruise connector fusable link, just cut the old one, pull the stalk out ( i think you have to push the stalk in, that is towards the column, and turn the stalk and it should come right out)
then when you put new one back in, I used duct tape (black) and taped the cable up to the column and ran through the dash under the coulmn and connected it back to connector, it has ben fine since.
if you pm me, I can send you pics of what I did.
cheers!

THanks mate, will look into that. How dumb is this newbie? I did not get a user manual and took a few days to work out that the transmission light was to tell me where the switch was

lately my cruise control stopped working
it's done this before, it'll work every now and then and then stop working sometimes
i've tried messing with the switch and the button but nothing works
any ideas as to whats wrong with it? do you think it's a wiring problem or a fuse or something of that nature?
