cruise control not working
Please anyone know how to test the cruise control system and where can I find all the parts of the circuit system. I have a 87 xj with a manual trans, with vacuum ports at the transfer case no speed sensor between the transfer case and speedo cable.
Thanks for the Help
BTW, it was working before then one day it stopped working. I have owned my rig now for a couple yrs.

You probably have broken wires at the base of the turn signal stalk. I used an old USB cable with the ends cut off. Just carefully solder to the broken wires and run back down inside the steering column.

There is a largeish tube/vacuum line that comes off your manifold, runs back and across the fire-wall, then forward and all the way down to your vacuum ball behind the right front bumper. (I'm not making this up!). Then there is a small tube that comes back and supplies vacuum for the cruse and heater controls. (note that that large line has a "Y" sort of near the canister where vacuum goes to the Vac switch on the Transfer case) Some people find their ball is just gone, or broken. So there's that!
