PLZ need help goin crazy,,long drive to work each day,,,,cruise control light in dash comes on but wont set,,,,
checked all vac lines n ball under bumper all is good,,,
even switched pcm ecu wit a friend n still doesnt work.
new clock spring new actuator n cable dnt knw what else to do,,,,
plz ny info nybody,,
whn i go over 90 mph the ac vents switch from front to dash vents,,maybe weak vaccum???

 

sounds like a vacuum storage problem vacuum is only created when motors at idle the vacuum ball stores it might need to put new vacuum check vakve in the supply line to the ball it will allow suction to be stored in the ball and not let it out

have u or anyone else heared of an pcm ecu goin bad with only the cruise control???
so u think its a vac problem or elect problem???
should i run to any junk yard pick up a vac ball n start thr ??suggestions plz

 

going by what you posted cruise is vacuum controled and so are you vents there is however a cruise control module

 

have you checked the servo and the line to it vacuum and electrial

 

yes i have,,,n still nthin,,,whn i press the on off button the cruise lights up in dash n thrs a signal sent to the servo tested it wit test lamp,,,but whn i press set or resune accell or coast nthin gets sent to servo,,nt sure if it should or nt or only over 30mph it gets the signal,..cant find nythin,,,ny ideas

no i read on the link u posted that the electrical signal only goes thru the ecm to the servo over 30 mph,,
am nt sure that happens so i tried a friends ecm n his cruise works but mine doesnt even wit his ecm so still cnt find nythin

 

can the cruise control go bad from pcm ecu???can the pcm ecu be the problem???
and if it is ,,,how can it effect only cruise control

 

is there a speed sensor that controls it i wonder

 

finally got it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,cruise control on
,,,,had a bad nss and a bad brake lamp switch,,,,
both were workin fine but the continuity between the pins were bad,,,,
tuff frustrating to find it out but finally got it goin
