Haven't checked the egg yet, but wanted to ask if that is the correct route to go (assuming these two issues are related).
I have the usual "no ac/heat through forward vents, only through the defroster vents", but also have an issue with my cruise control. I can turn it on, and the light comes on the switch, but it will not set, when I hit the set button.
Are both of these related to the vacuum egg or should I decouple them and look for two separate problems?

Figured that was where I was going to start, but didn't want to chase both problems to the egg if the cruise technically couldn't have been related.
Curious, How often do these things go bad (I'm not entirely sure what it is, can only guess its maybe a vacuum canister that stores vacuum so it's always on tap)? And do we have a source for replacements besides the junkyard?
Thanks again.
