Check all the vacuum lines coming out of the vacuum ball. That's why mine has always stopped.

Where is that located? And if there is a vacuum leak the cruise control won't work?

Ya It's behind the bumper on the passenger side. You should be able to see the lines they run up by the battery.

Is the airbag light on?

Probably not but......

If so, you have a broken clockspring. The horn, cruise control or bags won't work.

No the airbag light is not on. I'm think it has a vacuum leak because when running the ac on face it will switch to defrost and when u let off gas it goes back to face.

Go out to your jeep right now, pull the passenger bumper cap off. Check the vac ball make sure no water in it and it's in tact. Plus like one poster said, check the lined by the battery and the main vac connection for the cruise control is right there. If need brother I'll snap pics when it's light out since I don't have a garage. Good luck

^ like he said just start following the lines you will find something broke. They are especially prone to breaking next to the battery due to leaked battery acid making the plastic extremely brittle.

I might try and do this tomorrow after work.

I swapped my TB out with a Friend to see what was wrong with his, nothing, switched them back and ever since then my CC hasn't worked!

V/r,

Check the CC cable make sure it is installed right along with the throttle cable. Also follow that liner too. 3 cables, not sure if true for all years, are on the TB. Same as before if need pics I'll snap tomorrow

X2 -On my Caprice, the cable had slipped off the throttle. Easy fix though

That would be awesome if you could snap a few pics for me. I'm new into all this mechanic work and trying to save myself a few bucks. Thanks a lot for the help
