Default creapin with 5 cylinders

so i have replaced the spark plugs and wires, the fuel injectors and narrowed it down the the wires being bad on my number 2 injector. i unpluged number one and put the connector on number 2 and it fired. but the plug from number 2 just wont fire. i tested the wire by peeling back some of the wire protection and tested it with a volt meter, nothin. any ideas? does anybody know where those wires actually go?

most i can say is start tracing to the source of where it looses its power. More than likely there it is grounding out somewhere and there are enough cherokees that have seen fires under the hood.... i would be careful driving it (if you do) and just take your time and find the source of the cause

Might sound stupid but did you check the gapping on all of them? Mine was misfiring because of that. other then that it'd probably be connection points in the rotor and cap.

no i know it is the wires to fuel injector 2, just need to know how to replace them, or if there is another underlying problem now
