K here we go

My oil pressure started dropping when it would get hot and eventually started to drop to zero at lights and then come back up to around 40. So I changed the oil pressure switch, started it up went to 40 and would go to 60 when I reved it up, perfect. About a month later (now) it starts around 40 and will sometimes drop to zero at light and check gauges lit comes on, if I turned it off and restarted it would come back up to 40. Tonight going down the interstate it dropped to zero and would come back up. I also noticed that if the check gauges light on, the tranny shifts funny, funny being hit the gas and the torque converter unlocks/locks (which ever it doesn't normally do) let off gas it locks back up, or unlocks. Basically I hit the gas and the rpm's drops, let off rpm's go back up.

Any ideas or things to check would be great.

 

Idk what the deal is with your oil pressure unless you got a cheap sending unit but the torque converter only locks when you are steady on the gas. Off the gas and it unlocks (presuming you're in overdrive)

 

My only thought right now is that if there are wires that are shorting together
