Default Cranks, starts, dies on accel. Renix

So I bought a 1987 jeep pioneer with a 4.0 automatic and I can't get it to run off idle. It starts idles then as soon as I give it gas it dies the person I bought it from replace the flywheel and broke the camshaft postion sensor when they put it in. Since then they can't get it to run right. They did a new fuel pump filters injectors throatal body postion sensor. I was just wondering if anyone would know what is causing this . Do renix systems take a different cam shaft postion senor the the h.os any advice would help.

Two sites for you to review.

First, trouble shoot Renix specific sensors. http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/...iagnostics.htm

Next (not really 2nd) , Cruiser54's site http://cruiser54.com/ He's also a mod here. There is some duplication on sensor testing. Do tips #1-#5 for overall improvement. Tip #13 is the distributor indexing (yours could be off).
