Ok everyone, I am in what I thought was the home stretch of my build. I go to crank it over, and it cranks but doesn't fire. There is no fuel pressure at all. I pulled all of the following from my wrecked one, and it was all working when I pulled it:
  • Engine
  • Sending Unit
  • PCM
  • Wiring harness
On top of that I swapped the crank position sensor thinking that could be an issue, still no dice. I also checked the fuse in the kick panel and swapped it even though it looked fine and that wasn't it. Thoughts? Should I pull the fuse box from my wrecked one because I know it worked?

Auto Shutdown relay? You should still hear the pump fire up when you key-on, regardless of the crank sensor.

Time to crawl under the vehicle & check that you have 12 volts going to the fuel pump.

When I worked automotive (service writer), the one technician would take a sealed beam headlight & jumper "Hot" to the headlight. He'd also run a ground back to the battery to insure a good complete circuit. He was looking for a nice bright light. Scraping away some paint & rust on a vehicle doesn't necessarily insure a good ground. This allowed him to put a load on the system to see if the fuel pump was receiving what it should from the relay.

Checked the power going to the pump and we were good there, ended up being a grounding issue. Got it resolved and shes running like a champ!
