cranks but does not turn on

Turns out caps was bad.When I took it off from the tranny the wires were burned.Installed a new one from auto zone and turned on like if it had been running all along.After almost 6 months of sitting getting no action it is alive again.Thx guys for those who had the time to post and help a fellow jeeper.
