Is the cps from the same vendor and was it the same product?
If so I would try another brand. I would suggest oem.
Any leaks from the engine that may be in the area? Anything pinched?

If you have been installing aftermarket crank sensors, try one purchased from a Jeep dealer.
There has been no lack of threads with issues regarding aftermarket crank sensors.
I buy plenty of aftermarket parts, but the crank sensor is one item that I purchase ONLY from Jeep. Well worth the extra money.
