Crank shaft sensor 96 jeep cherokee country
#3
Sorry, I need a crankshaft sensor for my 96 cherokee country and need to know if it's a circular shape or triangular one. I would look in the car myself but it's not in my possession at this moment so I was just wondering bcus I need to know in order to get a new one. Curious if anyone out there has a 96 country xj and can help me out

It should look like this. Do yourself a big favor and get it from the dealer. Most after market ones fail prematurely that is if the even work. It is very common that the after market ones are bad right out of the box.

It's not a circle or a triangle?
It mounts with two bolts in the bellhousing and has a rectangular sensor that is perpendicular to the morning bracket.
