Just got my 2000 XJ Limited 180000 miles on Saturday, 10/20/12,, traded for my needing love 2000 WS6 Trans Am wearing only 86000 so i can get my kidz over the winter, and take them camping and fishing next year.. (divorced 7/11,, unemployed as of 11/11),,, Driving today, 10/24/2012, about a half mile from my house,, the jeep died,, no warning,, no codes, no nothing,, just like i shut off the key off while driving.... Thanx to about 5 threads on here,, and about 10 others just to be sure... I quickly found my answer to my problem and replaced the sensor,, not ever working on a 4.0 before, i had the job done in less than an hour.. I know this isn't the right area to post this,, but thanx to you all that post regularly and know what you're talking about.. I am truly greatful that i found this forum!!

Some things i will add,, on my second post,, my 2000 CPS nuts were 11'mm,, ,, there were two connectors in the way between me and the CPS,, once those were moved,, i had access pretty easy,, even to hand start the two bolts back into the bell housing (took me about a half hour to take it out cause im a newb,, 10 minutes to put it in...),, i used 2 swivels and a 12 inch extension,, and a 24 inch extension,, along with my 3/8th drive ratchet... my connector for the CPS was down by the CPS itself.. by the tranny linkage,,, no other parts had to be removed,,, i did retrieve the loosened sensor from the engine bay,, and re installed it just into position from there as well... i found that starting the nuts underneath the jeep with one hand over the front of the bell housing and one behind,, made it easy to get the lower nut going,, the upper one i did have to start with a extension and a swivel and socket,,,, thought that was going to take forever looking at it,, but was quite easy. Scared the death outta me since i just got this jeep,, and had an issue on day 4 of owning it,,(haven't even done all the DMV stuff yet) but this board made it easy... not that im looking forward to more issues... but am looking forward to meeting and networking with all of you guys and gals on here.
