Default Cracked flexplate

Ok guys I need some help. So I have had my 99 for just over a year now. It has always had a tick and the po said it hadoes been awhile. Didn't know much about vehicles before and have slowly started learning with my jeep. It's been to a mechanic a few times and they thought nothing of the sound as well. Well reading threads like I do, I stumbled across one describing my ticket and it was concerning the flexplate. I decided to check it out. I just looked real quick. Couldn't get one of the 18mm bolts off because of the damn exhaust. Anyways I couldn't get a good picture. Just to the left of the flex plate bolt is a line. Crack?

usually it will crack around the center bolts where it mounts to the crank on the engine. I don't see anything there but it's hard to see. My jeep ticks too lol

Yeah sorry it was the best pic I could muster. Just that "line" is all I saw all the way around. It ticks in that area as well.

Yes it is and it does. Except the bolt slides out into the exhaust and you can't take it off without unbolting the exhaust haha
