Default Loud noises rear end

I am on my 3rd xj and they have all done it, but none as bad as this one. Pretty much if I hit even the slightest bump, there is a loud boom from the rear end. It's like maybe bushings are worn??? I am not even sure what to look at. I just rebuilt the rear end. New carrier, ring and pinion, spider gears, bearings, everything except the axle shafts. It was making this noise before I did all that too. It's just annoying to hit the tiniest bump and its a loud bang or boom. Hopefully someone has an answer. I can try to get a video in the next day or two. I did a generic search for rear end noise on here and didn't find anything definitive. Maybe I need new shocks? No idea. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Transmission or motor mount might be bad. They can allow exhaust to move causing the thump. I put a pry bar under tranny mount and lift tranny, look at mount as tranny goes up. It will be obvious if its bad.
