CPWHEELER Aftermarket distributer?

CPWHEELER Aftermarket distributor?
Hi there,
I have a 98 XJ and replaced the distributor due to the fact that it was squealing
like crazy from bad bearing. Rather than pay for OEM I purchased one from Crown and jeep starts right up and runs fine but keeps throwing camshaft position sensor communication code??? Even tried putting OEM sensor back in and still throws code! Im beginning to think its the aftermarket Distributor itself. Any help would be appreciated.
