CPS help

Do y'all know if the CPS is interchangeable between the 6 and 4 cylinder engines? According to O'Reillys, they are the same part number. It's for an 87 Cherokee.

I did, they said it would take 3 to 5 days. I need it today. I was going to the junkyard to get one. But the only 87 there is a 4 cylinder. Hence my original question.

Get it at O Riley's....I bought mine there....works great! I think it was $89

You will pay through the Ying Yang through the dealer

Probably not the best choice for a critical part.
