What's that noise?

What's that noise?
This one seems odd to me, I have a 2000 XJ and as I'm driving if I let my foot off the gas I get this loud clanking/grinding noise from under the rear driver side. Almost sounds like gear teeth barely catching as they rotate. Any ideas?
