cps and fuel related issues HELP!!!
Ok so I think I narrowed down my no start issue to the cps but when I pressed the valve on the fuel rail no fuel sprayed out. Could a faulty cps cause low/no fuel pressure or cause the fuel pump to not work??? Any help is appreciated its a dd and its stuck at work...
My cps went out last week and I still got fuel to the rail after bleeding the schrader valve. Sounds like the pump to me, or a in line filter if yours has one mine doesn't.

If you are certain that you are hearing the pump run and you have no pressure at the fuel rail, you have either a bad fuel pump or a very clogged fuel system somewhere between the pump and the fuel rail.
The pump can sound like it is running, but still be a failing unit. Not that uncommon.
By design, the fuel pump should energize and run for about 2 seconds when the key is turned to the "ON" position. That is the easiest way to see if the fuel pump is getting voltage and if it is trying to run.
