I replaced it and drove around the block (so far) and not even a hick-up. I'm gonna head out on a longer test drive and will report back with (hopefully) good news.

Just for giggles, test the new one for AC voltage. Hope it all works regardless.

I tested it before I plugged it into the harness, 0.52v AC when cranking! It seems so powerful and smooth now that all six cylinders are working.
