alright. im going to be replacing my CCV hoses. Easy or hard? and while i drive i hear a thump a thump a thump a thump a thump( say kinda fast ) in the rear right wheel, or axle area. what could it be? and leaking oil from around oil pan. how much do those run. or how can i diagnose the leakin area.

ccv hoses i never done it but it looks pretty easy on my 89 at least. Would go down there and tighten all the bolts on the oil pan to see if that stops the leak but if it dosent u might just need a gasket. That thump could be alot of stuff, is it when u go over bumps or is it all the time?

seems to be when i go slow. maybe leaf spring? idk. it confuses me. and just replaced CCV hose. still leaking oil. looks like it is starting from the top of the pan and rolling down it.

Its prolly need a new gasket then. Have some one drive and watch the back of the jeep see what everything does. it could be the leaf spring, could be the shocks or could it be something you even have in the back of your jeep.

well. was under the jeep. and was looking at my slow oil leak. im losing alot of oil. but my pops said it is probally the drain plug or the rear main. plug im gonna replace tomorrow along with change the oil. but how hard is a rear main?
