Default Corporate 8.25 Rear Axle Drum Brakes

I have a Corporate 8.25 Rear Axle, would that mean I have 9" or 10" brakes or are both 9" and 10" used on the Corporate 8.25 Rear Axle?

My 8.25 was 9". Forget which axles came with finned drums, those are 10". Smooth drums, 9".

10" came on the police package. It wasn't axle dependant.

All the XJ 8.25's I've seen have 9" and all the XJ D4's have had 10".

My understanding is that 10" are a Police Jeep thing. That 10" are finned. 9" are not. Also you can tell by the brake lines going into the wheel cylinders. 10" go in at an angle. Different part #'s for left and right. 9" go in straight. Same part # for both sides.
