Default cooling system issue

so today i replaced the coolant temp sending unit for the guage and ever since i did that my jeeps been slighly over heating, and i cant seem to get air out of the top cooling hose, i have taken off the cap and added water and squeezed it till bubbles stoped coming out and drove it around town for around 30-45 min and i cant seem to get it all out, i havent ever had this problem before last time i had it idle for a few min and it fixed itself real quick but for some reason this time its just being difficult, i dont see any leakes and the tstat/pump all are pretty new. i have to leave for work in a few and wont get home till late and tomm is the last day before a trip i have to work on it so i gotta get it fixed quick or once again its gonna be sitting at home while i take my dads ford lol any help appreciated

bump

when just revving it to around 2500 or so it stays the same temp as idle which is a few deg over 210, and the top hose stays full of air for the most part but does get hot, only when u put a load on it does it overheat, never quite to the red tho. leaving me and my dad scratching our heads atm :\

Not to thread jack but I noticed in your sig line the Merz. lol I have a beat to crap 82 300SD parked in my driveway. Looks like crap but started and ran every single day I needed it to.

as for the cooling issue. I know this might be a silly thing to ask but did you raise the front end some? Sometimes that helps the air flow to the higher point and out.

huh..... strange. Try bleeding it at the back of the block where the temp sender is?

Mine is the closed pressure renix system so it's not exactly the same or anything but that was a suggestion given to me if bleeding at the pressure bottle didnt work.

Not sure what else to suggest. Hopefully someone else will have an idea.

Maybe get it up to temp stab the out of the upper hose then replace it just to make you feel better?
