Default Cooling system

1990 jeep cherokee with a "closed" radiator system anybody know the proper way to burp it? Thanks

Park it with the back end up higher than the front and remove the coolant temp switch at the back of the cylinder head on the driver side and let it sit for a bit

I heard after draining it pull the big hose off the thermostat housing and fill the block with half and half than put the hose back on fill the tank with coolant start the car with heat on blast (which mine does not get hot) and let it run 5 min keep adding fluid. Turn it off, top off the tank an your good to go but iv also heard the electric fan has to kick on or it will have an air pocket. I havnt gotten my car hot enough for the fan to kick on (if it works) after its all squared away im running a switch to it but is all this correct ? Or am i missing something
