Did you pay attention when you took the housing off?

I'd reassemble just as it was taken apart, but thats just me.

As for doing the flush in "reverse" I agree. You typically get better results.

With all that is involved, disposal and such, I'm wondering how these shops make their money if only charging $100.

I am a little skeptical, but if everything is legit its worth it, esp if using cleaners and pumps.

Well the best quote I got was $89.00 for the full flush.
1.radiator
2.Block
3.Heater Core Only

Thermostat $9.00 (Stant Superstat)
Gaskets $4.99 for both
And labor was $100.00 Freaking crazy to remove the temp housing for 100. bucks.

so I did the flush, and will do the Tstat and gaskets the after the next flush myself. (it was pretty bad in there)
