Hey guys, I've had a problem with my Coolant temp sensor dropping temp, causing high idle, and cutting out.

Fixed that about 5 months ago by noticing the clip was broken, and siliconing the wires onto the terminals. Well, after a mountain off roading trip this past weekend, the coolant temp sensor is acting up....Again.

So I look at everything. Water pump, hoses are new, ECT sensor, coolant is new.

Haven't checked the thermostat, because I get to 210 degrees, and hold it efficiently.

And ontop of the ECT, I'm losing coolant at a weekly rate. Although there are no visible leaks, or any visible cracks. I don't know where the hell the coolant's going.

Anyone else have this problem before? Thanks for the help guys.

 

Not positive on this, but on mine, there is a hose that runs from the firewall to a cutoff hose. It leaks after i drive it almost everytime. Im not sure if its a heater hose or what, but it leaks probably 1/10 gallon everytime. Im not sure if its because the coolant system is overfilled? or if it just gets to hot and releases it because of pressure.
