i noticed this today while i was installing fog lights on my jeep. not sure what the part is but its pretty clear that its leaking. any input on the part or if anyone has had this happen would be great. i'm hoping its a fix i can do myself. seems pretty accessible. thanks

Those are supposed to be the lines going to your heater core, but I don't think mine look like that

It could just be the lines are cracking at the hose clamps and coolant is leaking from there rather than the heater valve

If there is any doubt, get a new heater control valve in there.

They were under-designed from the factory and with age the plastic gets brittle and
leads to the valve basically disintegrating over time, and if that happens, you have a major leak, possible overheat and tow.
