Hi, Just am so fricken confused I don't understand this car at all. I took it in after it overheated last week im assuming that the thermostat stuck or there was an air buble in radiator cause coolant sprayed all over everything under the hood. Had it towed in and the guy told me a head gasket I honestly don't believe him. I was able to get it back home and it was running fine no white around oil cap and no coolant smell out of exhaust. Today I replaced my fan clutch becasue it was bad and also replaced thermostat and gasket. I also wanted to burp radiator. I began to poor coolant into radiator and the coolant just leaked like crazy it seems like it is in the lower part I was thinking the lower rad hose but it doesn't seem like it is coming from there. I also replaced the water pump in the fall. I am clueless any help would be greatly appreciated at this point.

 

There is no way anyone can know where your radiator (or other cooling system component) is leaking from without being there and looking for the leak. Even a relatively small amount of coolant can blow all over the engine compartment making it very difficult to find the actual leak. Takes patience but only you can find it.

 

I thought I had a leak after I changed my water pump, it was actually left over fluid from the change. Took about a week for the fluid to leave.

The original leak was a coolant hose. The one under the power steering pump. It was terrible to change. For me at least. And the cut was really tiny but spewed like a fire hose.
