Default Control Arms????

I have got a 3in RC lift on my XJ right now and am about to buy the things to do another 2in lift. They are spacers/shackles, Adj. track bar, shocks, drop pitman arm, and tc drop. So my question is, will i be fine with my stock control arms? I have seen people do it, but i want to get your guys opinion.

only reason why i ask is because i've seen a number of home brew upper control arms that are really rigged looking like yours and many of them have issues with shearing bolts

havent had an issue yet. i ran some grade 8s through there just cause torque heads **** me off. I go threw quite a few torx bits in a month. my bushings are off of a 01 and are in really good shape if that makes a difference

main reason i went beefy is because i broke/bent 3 out of the 4 control arms on the trail. Then drove out. wasnt fun and was hard on fenders. not guna happen again. and i always carry 1 extra of each control arm with matching hardware

Well i got the prices together to add 2 more in to my 3in lift now and its goin to cost me roughly 600. So i figured i mise well just save a little more and go big with a 6.5 RC lift. I can pick one up for about 825. So its goin to get a 6.5in lift on it. I will post pics as i get it transformed from a little XJ to a big XJ.
