control arm replacement
I am looking at replacing the control arms on my 99 xj, but got some conflicting adive.
Am I best to jack it all the way up with the front wheels off the ground to do this, or should I only jack it up a little to take the weight, but leave the wheels on the ground?

Yes. I believe the jack stands do no lift jeep much, but secure it so front wheel can be rotated, which aligns control arm bolt hole. I like using the stands also, they can remove some of the preload off the springs.
