so I have rough country lower control arms from their 4.5 lift and i have heard numerous times that the bushings go bad relatively fast. has anyone had experience from this and is it true? if it is, is there a new bushing set that is better that would replace the stock rubber ones? the control arms are not installed yet but i want to replace them now so i dont have to do it later.

 

Some bushings that are better from my experiences are from BDS, just make sure you throw some white lithium grease on them before you install.

I think Energy Suspension makes some... I'd definitely go poly if you're swapping them out. They'll be a b*tch to swap..

 

Last time I replaced control arm bushings the parts store let me use their press, way easier.
