Default Complete suspension replacement

I recently bought a 2000 Cherokee Ltd with some off roading in mind, and have noticed that the stock suspension is getting long in the tooth. The rear springs have their usual sag, and the rest of the suspension is pretty worn and rusted.

After putting about 7k miles on it, I've noticed that I've actually spent no time whatsoever off road, and it looks like this will simply be my daily driver. For anyone who's ever owned a bimmer (my favorite type of ride), are there any suspension/lift kits that replace the entire suspension set up that are ideal for on road travel. I've read reviews of Rancho, BDS, etc, and they focus a lot on off-road capability. I'm really looking for a sporty, 3-series like on road ride.

I'm looking at spending roughly a grand (up to 1500), and wouldn't object to 2-3" of lift.

Old Man Emu has the softest ride in lifts and they are great kits. It's a Jeep so keep in mind it will never ride like a BMW.

Oh no, I don't mean trying to get something exactly like a bimmer. I was just trying to throw out the M3 as being the direction I'm going in--rather than something mushy or dull.

Any other suggestions to look into?

you could go through the work and install Energy Suspension poly bushings everywhere, at least that will help the responsiveness

Energy Suspension poly bushings, eh. That sounds like a good idea. Is there a kit that comes with those already?
