Cut and re-weld ...or you can try to bend them straight.

Definitely upgrade ASAP. If you bent em once, you'll bend em again. Even if you can hammer em flat enough to use for now, I highly recommend these:

If you can't weld, see if someone local can help you out. OR if you have a shop you can trust to do it right, and reasonably cheap, I'd do that too.

Basically a TJ LCA mount. You'll have to grind it a bit since TJ LCA's are angled a bit, XJ's aren't.

Just got mine all fixed up finally. I rocked bent for like 2 years. Someone on here once wisely told me...if you're gonna do it, do it right the first time. I've been following that since then on my jeep, being patient for more money for quality parts and real "fixes" and now my jeep is almost ready for the Necropocalypse. I think your best bet is to buy the rusty's off road ones, as I did, and get them welded on in place of the old ones. Dont bend them back. If they bent once they will bend again...just .02

I welded some old XJ U-bolt plates to mine on the trail rig as skids. They work great and fit perfect.

Here is a pic before the axle was installed.
