Default considering Monroe sensa-trac...

Hello everybody!

I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend,... it's about time I start getting new shocks for front and rear. I've narrowed down my choices to the Rancho rs5000 vs the Monroe sensa-trac. Has anyone used the Monroe's? I've used them on old Ford trucks and have loved the way they feel but that's a different animal compared to the jeep. Or any others you've maybe used that have a nice ride. The jeep only goes thru sand and little mud so no huge off road concerns. Thanks

I just installed the Sensa-Tracs a couple months ago and I like them. I used the load adjusting shocks for the rear and they keep the rear end from sagging if your leaf springs are a little worn. I was also considering the Rancho's but I've heard they ride pretty rough so I went with the Monroe's.

I use Sensa-Tracs on all my trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs. Been using them for years. I don't buy anything else.

I have the sensa-trac on the girls jeep and they work fairly good a little rough in the back, because of the bad shackle angle.
I have also used the reflex shocks too, when I was working we would install these over rancho all day long. One of the tech would swear that they are to par with factory bilstiens. The only bad thing I noticed with they if you don't have so help sometimes they can be a real pain in the *** to collapse.

The sensa-tracs were good back when the XJ was stock- I would recommend them.
