Sta Bil is ok. I like seafoam. It's an oil and gas treatment. If ican get my hands on it I use bg products. But they are hard to come by. If it runs ok just run it. It should be fine

It runs terribly rough, I can't figure out how to get the gas out of the tank, bought a wonderpump aka shaker siphon (for a few bucks figured it might be worth a shot) and it won't even fit down into the tank due to the copper head being too wide.

Anyone else have any actual working ways to get gas out of my tank (theres 10 -11 gallons in it) besides the ever so fabulous suck and hope you don't get a gallon of gas in your mouth method?

Ken, What do you say about putting Sta Bil in it now, as is and just driving it for 150 miles til I get rid of the gas in the tank, Will it hurt my fuel system by doing so??

Thanks

Disconnect the fuel line at the manifold and use a suitable hose and gas can to catch the gas. Remove the fuel pump relay and use a jumper wire between the applicable wires to energize the pump.

Disconnect the fuel line and turn the key to run/on and the fuel will spray out.

No, won't work..

At "KEY ON" the PCM will energize the pump for 2 seconds and thats it. The PCM then waits until the engine is confirmed to be running before turning the pump back on.

Does it make a difference that my fuel pump is in the tank, in the fuel tank assembly, along with the fuel pressure regulator ? It looks like this

A lot of gas comes out of there in two seconds. Ask me how I know.. :/ lol. Jump the wires like the previous poster said.

since it still starts on the stuff that's in there, add 2 bottles of water remover and top off with fresh gas

Lucas Oil fuel treatment all day. Put a few ounces in and run through the old stuff, then add two ounces at each fill up.

And run premium. No ethanol and your Jeep will thank you.

What does this have to do with bad gas (possibly containing water) in his tank? lol

Sta- bil is to keep gas fresh, Not to restore stale gas!
