I was just at Lowe's and found their Kobalt Compressed Air Regulator at $30.00 off. I can purchase a 20oz CO2 bottle and regulator for about $100.
How well would this work for going to the trail, reducing my 33 Swampers to 12-15psi and then reinflating to 25 psi to drive home?
Does anyone know how many fills I should get with 20oz's?
The regulator will also fit Paintball CO2 canisters, so there's a ready supply of canisters.

 

Don't use CO2. It reacts with heat etc. Not recomended for tires at all. Get nitrogen if you can. Or just get a 12 volt compressor for trail inflation deflation.
Trust me on the CO2. I used to work in the compressed gas business.

 

You see ads in the magazines refering to CO2 bottles for on trail tire inflation. If I were racing Nascar, the heat might be a problem, but not trails at 10-15 lbs and road at 35 lbs.
Back to my original question, will a 20 oz bottle, whether it is CO2 or Nitrogen, give me enough air to adjust my trail and road tire pressure?
Is there enough in a 20 oz bottle to do 2-3 vehicles?
