Are the components of a D30 interchangable between the hp and lp versions

Are the components of a D30 interchangable between the hp and lp versions
I believe the pinion bearing on my lp D30 is on the way out. I'm gonna replace it with a hp. The hubs and u joints in the axles have less than 1000 miles on them. Will they swap over to the d30 hp I get? Does it matter that my lp was abs and has the rings on the axles. I'm disabling it due to an 8.25/disc swap. But will the parts fit?
