Excellent, that's what I was sort of thinking.

When you do the swap, if you are getting from a junkyard, grab whichever ZJ E-brake cable is longer, and then get Napa #95064 for the passenger side. That's what I did.

This is a popular and proven method as well. I cut off my stock E-brake cables in frustration when I couldn't get them out, lol

Since you seem so passionate about this issue, would you care to expand with info/link? I haven't heard of these cables as of yet

IIRC TeraFlex makes them. Hardly comparble to the convenience of NAPA

Nope. Morris4x4.

$55 for two cables shipped to your door and they're an exact fit.

This is what i did for my ebrake and works fine. Didn't need longer ones.

And for anyone else doing the swap, grab the zj studs too. They are longer by several threads. As for the chunks not sure if you resolved it but no disrespect to your Friend. Don't listen to him. Always re inspect just in case. His clunk may be different. Do t risk safety ofo of hearsay. I did the conversion on my 01 and have no clunk

Nope. I think the cold weather made the tail pipe shrink or something.

KJ/ZJ cables from napa cost more than those do shipped to your house.

I'm not against the whole use u bolts or go to the junkyard and get stuff cheaper but most people just go "buy KJ cables!"

x2 on the studs.

As far as the cables, that's a decent price for both. I might've gone that route, but I got my kit from BigDavid and he included the ZJ cables. I was able to reuse the one, and decided to get the NAPA cable. It was 30 bucks IIRC

after driving it for awhile the clunk got worse. come to find out it wasn't the brakes at all. one of my sway bar bushing mounts broke. I began paying closer attention and finally pinpointed the source to the front of the jeep. not sure if I managed to put it in a bind jacking up the rear or what but the mount broke in half, which created another problem. the outside bolt won't come out of the subframe. the nut inside broke loose and the bolt just spins in place. so I practiced some southern engineering to temporarily remedy the problem. I'll have to post a pic, I'm sure you guys would appreciate it.
