Compass/Temp module died

Compass/Temp module died
My compass/temp readout has been giving intermittent and inaccurate readings on and off for a while.
It finally died last week and refuses to come on.
This is the fourth one I have gotten from salvage yards. Some were DOA, but this one lasted about a year and a half.
Anybody know of another source for these things? Or if any company fixes them? I work so much it is hard now to get by the SY and search anymore.
